Romans 8:3

For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin,1 he condemned sin in the flesh,

3The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature.*8:3 Greek our flesh; similarly in 8:4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 12. So God did what the law could not do.
