26And they raised over him a great heap of stones, unto this day; and Jehovah turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones that remains to this day. Then the LORD turned from his burning anger. Therefore, to this day the name of that place is called the Valley of Achor.1

26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the Lord turned from the fierceness of his anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.
26 Then ⌊they placed⌋ on top of him a great pile of stones that remains to this day. And Yahweh ⌊turned from his burning anger⌋, and thus the name of that place to this day is called the valley of Achor.
26and they raise up a great heap of stones over him to this day, and YHWH turns back from the heat of His anger, therefore [one] has called the name of that place “Valley of Achor” until this day.
They raised over him a great heap of stones that stands to this day, and the LORD turned from the fierceness of His anger. Therefore the name of that place has been called the valley of Achor to this day.
26They piled a great heap of stones over Achan, which remains to this day. That is why the place has been called the Valley of Trouble*7:26 Hebrew valley of Achor. ever since. So the Lord was no longer angry.
