10Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, What is this that thou hast done? For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of Jehovah, because he had told them.
10 Then the men were exceedingly afraid and said to him, “What is this that you have done!” For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
10 Then were the men exceedingly afraid, and said unto him, Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the Lord, because he had told them.
10 Then the men ⌊were greatly afraid⌋, and they said to him, “What is this you have done?” because they knew that he was fleeing ⌊from the presence of⌋ Yahweh (because he had told them).
10And the men fear a great fear, and say to him, “What [is] this you have done!” For the men have known that he is fleeing from the face of YHWH, for he has told them.
Then the men became extremely frightened and they said to him, ``How could you do this?" For the men knew that he was fleeing from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them.
10The sailors were terrified when they heard this, for he had already told them he was running away from the Lord. “Oh, why did you do it?” they groaned.
