9Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto him.
9 So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
9 Therefore indeed we have as our ambition, whether at home in the body or absent from the body, to be acceptable to him.
9We are also ambitious for this reason, whether at home or away from home, to be well pleasing to Him,
